Our new tutor Tina trained with the Royal School of Needlework and will be sharing her expert skills in hand stitched embroidery. Over the 5 week course you will learn different stitch techniques which can be made into small gift projects such as hanging decorations, pendants, covered buttons, badges and small pictures in a frame. This is a foundation course introducing various hand embroidery techniques

•  Simple silk shading (painting with the needle) -


• Crewelwork stitches


•  French knots,


• bullion knots, satin stitch 


• Basic Gold work


• Stumpwork 


• Ribbon embroidery

This course will take place over 5 weeks: Thursday 10th January, Thursday 17th January, Thursday 24th January, Thursday 31st January, and finally Thursday 7th February. The classes are 2 hours each, from 1pm to 3pm.



NB-We provide the full embroidery kit for each project each week.
