Log Cabin - Beginner's Quilt

Log Cabin - Beginner's Quilt

Learn to make your own patchwork quilt over four sessions.

You will learn to make a fully backed quilt of approximately 1.7m square.

We try to keep the class times to a minimum to keep costs down. We appreciate that everybody sews at their own speed and we want our classes to be enjoyable and for attendees not to feel under pressure.

Some homework may be necessary to complete to full quilt although we will give you all the necessary instruction during the class times.

We also offer a quilting club if you do not finish your quilt in the allotted timescale

You will learn how to work out your fabric layout, cut with precision using a rotary cutter, sew at ¼” seams and how back and bind a quilt.
